Housed at and partially funded by St. James Episcopal Church, the preschool primarily serves Hispanic children, offering a bilingual curriculum that transitions students from Spanish to English. This critical foundation prepares children to succeed in kindergarten and beyond, helping to close educational gaps and set them on a path to lifelong success.

In 2025, a grant from the Cobb EMC Foundation allowed Wonderful Days to replace their aging, 20-year-old bus with a safer, more reliable model. The new bus, equipped with modern safety features like a three-point harness system and an alarm to ensure no child is left behind, provides free transportation to and from school. This vital service is a lifeline for families with limited resources, many of whom rely on a single vehicle. Cobb EMC Foundation’s support has also helped the preschool continue providing free tuition, meals, and enriching programs like field trips to libraries, parks, and fire departments.

Each year, Wonderful Days Preschool serves up to 32 children, equipping them with the tools to thrive academically and socially. The program’s bilingual curriculum starts in Spanish to ease children into the learning environment and transitions them to English by the end of the first semester. This ensures they are fully prepared to start kindergarten on equal footing with their peers. By addressing barriers to early education, the preschool is making a generational impact and empowering children and their families to build brighter futures.
